We have also implemented 5S. 5S is the name of a workplace organization method that uses a list of five Japanese words: seiri, seiton, seiso, seiketsu, and shitsuke. The list describes how to organize a work space for efficiency and effectiveness by identifying and storing the items used, maintaining the area and items, and sustaining the new order.
Luxilon industries NV was the first manufacturer to produce tennis strings and other filaments under the ISO 9001 quality standard. We are now producing under the ISO 9001 2008 standard. Quality must therefore be of the highest level. TQM (Total Quality Management), SPC (Statistic Process Control), feasibility studies and our internal high standards must keep us far ahead of any other filament manufacturer.
