Originally Scourlux was developed for the sock industry. Socks were knitted by pair.
To separate them Scourlux was used instead of a standard thread (mechanical removal).
Scourlux is removed by heath: steam or hot air in combination with steam.
Scourlux is widely used in the knitting industry to separate structures from each other (e.g. collars for polo’s, etc.).
It can also be used to create special effects in the fashion industry (e.g. wholes, small flaps or other fantasies in knitted fabrics)
Scourlux is available in a range from 100 den up to 0.195mm. It is available in a natural, white, red, grey and black version.
