Thermolux

Thermolux, a cutting-edge line of thermal bonding yarns by Luxilon, harnesses the properties of diverse low melting polymers, including co-polyamide and co-polyester. With melting temperatures ranging from 65°C up to 170°C, Thermolux offers versatility, available in yarns spanning from 50 den to 0.5mm. Luxilon's careful polymer selection, varying in viscosity, provides options for tailored yarns with differing flow characteristics during melting.

The melting process for Thermolux is adaptable, utilizing hot air ovens, infrared radiation, induction, and more. It is recommended to melt Thermolux 10-20°C higher than the theoretical melting point for optimal performance.

Applied extensively in textile applications, Thermolux excels in bonding fabrics, layers, or yarns to enhance structural stability and increase wear resistance. The versatile nature of Thermolux finds expression in various transformation technologies, including braiding, weaving, knitting, and twisting, making it a versatile and indispensable component in textile manufacturing.
